Announcing a new on-line journal, International Journal of Nursing in Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities The premiere edition, Historical & Global Perspectives, was recently launched at the Annual Developmental Disabilities Nurses Association (DDNA) Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina. The journal addresses issues across the life span of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in diverse practice settings worldwide. It provides cost effective, convenient and up to date information to enhance the nursing services and supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their family members, support staff and professionals who are part of community interdisciplinary teams.
